WELCOME

Greetings and thanks for visiting this blog and being interested in this great project- Running for HOPE

My name is Rob and with my friend Andrew, we will run the Paris Marathon in April to raise money for HIV Orphans and Vulnerable children in Zimbabwe. I work for SIM and they are really involved in HIV and AIDS ministries throughout the World. All their projects come under the title of HOPE they provide essential care and training to the many impacted by this disease.

In running this race, we hope to provide funds that will go directly to the local community, providing education, nutrition and training that will make a huge and lasting impact to the children and those around them. Whether that is providing the fees for just one child to go to school, or buying a goat to provide milk for the babies affected by HIV, your giving will help.

It would be great to have you alongside, keeping us company with encouragement and making sure we stick to our weekly training plans! Most of all, it would be great to help this community in Zimbabwe and make a real difference to the future of these children.

Thanks again and bless you,

Rob and Andrew.
